A: The Fountains is right when you answer “YES” to any of the following:

  • Would your parent benefit from more social interaction with other mature adults?
  • Would your parent benfit from eating meals prepared for them and enjoying the company of others at meals?
  • Would your parent benefit from regular exercise in the form of stretching/balance class, aqua therapy, or walking?
  • Would your parent enjoy participating in outings, crafts, card groups, or a speciality club like Book Club, Veteran’s Club, or Red Hats?

Q: How can I determine if My Parent can afford a Retirement Community

A: First consider all of the fees that your parent may be currently paying. This could include Property, Tax, Home Owners Insurance, Subdivision or Association Fees, Utilities, Lawn Care and Snow Removal.  At The Fountains we offer a monthly rental option. We also work with ElderCare USA to investigate options like Veterans Benefits.  Please call us for more specific information based on your indifvidual situation.

Q: How will I know if My Parent will Fit In and Be Happy?

A: The Fountains has a special Welcome and Orientation Program which lasts for several weeks, assuring all new Residents moving in to our community learn their way around and meet a variety of new neighbors right away. The social, friendly environment at The Fountains lends itself to making friends and being happy. You are welcome to come by and visit and attend activities along with your parent at any time!
